Oh, Organics!

Only once in a blue moon do you stumble upon a mouth-watering (weekly changing) menu, a tantalizing wine list, and a fantastic venue hidden – keyword, hidden – within Paso Robles Wine Country. Even rarer do you find a scene dedicated to providing dishes made from local, organically and sustainably produced, community supported ingredients.

Enter in Thomas Hill Organics. Combined with a 10-acre farm on Paso Robles’ east side (home to almost 1000 fruit and nut trees, various herbs and greens), a talented and friendly staff, and two ardent advocates/owners (Debbie and Joe Thomas), Thomas Hill Organics is one splendid eatery.

Try: the Halibut Cheeks (such a charming name and so delicious).

Sit: outside in the private dining patio, underneath the amazingly gigantic WINE sign (as originally seen here).

See: the art hanging on the walls by artist Joseph Thomas.

Ask: about the Thomas Hill Organics CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program. For roughly $30/week, you can provide a family of 6 with a plethora of farm-to-table fresh produce.
